2010 Elections
The deadline for MPMA's 2009 nominations has closed.
Each year, the Mountain-Plains Museums Association's Board Development Committee accepts nominations for board positions.
Positions available for nomination in 2010: to be determined early winter 2010
Election Process
The Board Development Committee will call for nominations and will provide a nomination form for candidates to fill out. It will then will put together a slate of officers for the annual election. It will contact candidates to confirm their willingness to serve after the nomination deadline. An electronic ballot will then be distributed to the membership. Election results will then be provided to the Board and to the nominees. Upon confirmation at the Annual Business Meeting at MPMA’s Annual Conference, the elected board members will assume office immediately.
Eligibility
Only individual Association members in good standing and residing within the ten-state region of the MPMA shall be eligible for election to the Board.
