MPMA's  Scholarship Program is one of the best.  It has applicant diversity and a strong mentoring component.  It also provides a bonding opportunity with other scholarship recipients that is aimed at enhancing the conference experience and creating lifelong friendships. All scholarship recipients meet at

the beginning of the conference and work together at events. They are recognized twice at the conference

for the achievement of being awarded a scholarship.

There are four categories of Conference scholarships:

* Emerging Professional

* Mid-career Professional

* Student

*Tribal

South Dakota's State Assocation (ASDM) and RC-MPMA (registrars and collection managers) are included, too.

The Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to those studying and/or working in MPMA's 10-state region so that they may attend MPMA's annual conference.    Please note:  some scholarships are for those living or working in specific states.

Other Scholarships:

Check with your state to see if there is an agency that provides funding for professional training.
